Turitea Building Work

- Carpeting on Level 1, already underway.
- Toilets upgrade at the Registry end of the Library, on all levels of the stairwell. This begins on Monday 21 November.
- Painting the outside of the building, starting soon.
We apologise for the inconvenience. Please ask if you need help.
PBRF Evidence Portfolio assistance: Turitea Library
SEE HERE FOR FEBRUARY 2012 UPDATE
Turitea academic staff - to assist with the compilation of your Evidence Portfolios the Library has developed a set of bibliometric tools. These can be used to create a surprisingly detailed picture of the progress of a piece of academic work after it has been published.

After this staff will be available to assist you with the profiling tools - you can stay on after the session, or drop in any time after the first 30 minutes at a time that suits you. Using Bibliometric Data in PBRF Evidence Portfolios - how the Library can help
The 1 October deadline for draft Evidence Portfolios is drawing closer. Over recent months many staff have attended the various PBRF clinics and open days hosted by Research Management Services and been introduced to the use of citation analysis as a means of demonstrating the influence and impact of their research outputs. The Library has developed a set of bibliometric tools which can be used to create a surprisingly detailed picture of the progress of a piece of academic work after it has been published.
If you have not attended one of these sessions, or if you have used the profiling tools but would like further help, then the Turitea Library will be running a number of follow-up sessions. These will take the form of short introductory presentations for those new to the idea of bibliometric evidence, followed by the opportunity to work through your own publications with library staff.
When:
Tues 23 August 9.30-11.30am
Weds 24th August 2.00-4.00 pm
Tues 30th August 2.00-4.00 pm
Thurs 1 Sept 9.30-11.30am
